This Privacy Policy describes how KostaApps ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the RoofingPro mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use RoofingPro, you may voluntarily provide information including:

• Business information: Company name, contact name, email, phone number, address, license number, and tax ID — used to brand your PDF estimates.
• Customer information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and project addresses for customers you create estimates for.
• Estimate data: Roof measurements, material selections, pricing preferences, and project notes.
• Settings: Currency, tax rate, profit margin, and locale preferences.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version — for compatibility and debugging.
• Usage analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., which features are used most) through industry-standard analytics tools to improve the App. This data is not personally identifiable.
• Purchase information: If you subscribe to RoofingPro Pro, purchase transactions are processed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive or store your payment card details.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not collect health, financial, or biometric data.
• We do not use tracking technologies for advertising purposes.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All estimate data, business information, customer details, saved quotes, and settings are stored locally on your device using the device's secure storage (AsyncStorage). This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly share it (for example, by generating and sending a PDF estimate).

We do not operate servers that store your personal data or estimate information. Your data lives on your phone.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

• Generate roofing estimates and PDF documents within the App.
• Display your business branding on estimates.
• Save your preferences and default pricing for faster future estimates.
• Manage your subscription status (via RevenueCat).
• Improve the App's features and fix bugs (via anonymous analytics).

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — processes subscription payments. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Expo — development framework used to build the App. Expo's privacy policy is at expo.dev/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Sharing

Your data is only shared when you initiate the action:

• When you generate and share a PDF estimate, the document is shared through your device's native sharing interface.
• When you export saved quotes, the data goes where you send it.

We do not share your data with any third parties beyond what is described in Section 4.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since your data is stored locally on your device:

• You can delete individual saved quotes at any time from within the App.
• You can clear all data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.
• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data.

7. Children's Privacy

RoofingPro is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data stored on your device uses the platform's built-in secure storage mechanisms. Subscription management is handled through encrypted connections to RevenueCat and the app stores. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Request data portability.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over it at all times. For any questions about your rights, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
